The Classic Sale offers fantastic objects from important private collections. Enjoy the magnificent Lars Bellman silver collection, which is presented in a separate catalogue, and includes objects from the late Middle Ages to the Empire style period. Highlights of the art department include the collection of Julia Beck’s masterpieces and in particular ”Mirroring de l’eau sur Étang avec des nénuphars” and ”Étang avec des nénuphars, soleil et brouillard”. Anders Zorn’s outstanding portrait of Countess Stenbock, Carl Larsson’s ”Brita at the piano” and Carl Wilhelmson’s ”Fourteen-year-olds” are also some of the outstanding paintings included in this sale. Discover works by artists such as Alexei Petrovich Bogoliubov, Gustaf Fjaestad, John Bauer, Helmer Osslund, Carl Milles, Akseli Gallen-Kallela, Albert Edelfeldt and Edvard Munch. The catalogue also includes important furnitures, mirrors, folklore objects, carpets, jewellery and watches, prints, lighting objects, Russian arts and applied art and much more.

The Asian Sale offers a large number of exciting objects from significant Swedish and Finnish private collections. From Hilkka Hellevi Korpivaara’s collection is the pair of fine Chinese blue and white dragon bowls, and from the Swedish private collection at Misterhult’s manor you will find some of the highlights in the sale; two rare superb flambé-glazed bottle vases, a flambé shallow bowl and a pair of Chinese famille rose bowls. The auction also includes significant porcelain objects from Anna Charlotta Sebenius’ collection, such as the Cornelis Pronk plates and a significant blue and white dish from the Shunzhi-Kangxi period.
